My writing journey started in journalism. From middle school to graduating from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, I followed my dream to be a reporter. Life pivots and, with it, my career but I couldn’t completely leave journalism behind. While my main focus now is marketing, I still make time on the side to write stories about the incredibly talented people in my community.

The first issue of KNVS Magazine, San Diego County’s first regional arts magazine, was conceptualized, written and published in 24 days. As the inaugural editor, I wrote every word from cover-to-cover.
